Paper Lampshade Collaboration with Folded Side Project | www.foldedsideproject.com

Hello, I'm Sarah, the founder and creator of Paper & Design (previously known as Pom Pom Studio).

I am a proud mum to four gorgeous boys, Callum, Harrison, Oliver & Ronnie and wife of Stuart - my rock!

I've always had a passion for anything and everything creative and have over the years built a hugely successful business that enables me to channel this energy to bring my own, and other people's visions to life.

It all started in 2012 when I stumbled across tissue paper pom poms (those fluffy paper balls used for parties and events), I just loved how simple yet effective they were in changing the look and feel of a space. I began making and selling them online along and soon built up a collection of hand made paper decor. A year later, I received an enquiry that changed everything and set me on the path I am today.

A request came in from The White Company asking if I could produce over 1000+ origami boats and roses for their in store and window displays across the UK. Fast forward to 2020 and I have had the pleasure of working with lots of incredible clients, including Ralph Lauren, Harrods, Hobbs, Selfridges, Farrow & Ball, Warner Bros, Disney, ITV, Bobbi Brown and many more worldwide.

I now have a fantastic team of creatives who work alongside me on large scale projects.

So why the name change...?

Pom Pom Studio had evolved so much over the years, in 2020 I no longer felt the name aligned to the brand. Where I had started off making paper pom poms and wedding decor, I was now creating a wide range of bespoke products for retail displays and events. I needed a name that didn't limit the perception of our capabilities - Paper & Design was born!

After investing in an Epilog laser cutter/engraver system to assist in prop production I decided to broaden my product range even further. It was then I decided to set up our sister company, Fox + Bramble, initially specialising in laser cut designs for kids interiors. Since then we have branched out and opened two kids concept stores in Ipswich and Felixstowe.
